About Carly
I’m a filmmaker based in Atlanta, Georgia, and I’ve handled in-house video production for the High Museum of Art since 2022.
I graduated from Florida State University with a BFA in Film Production in 2017 and spent a few years freelancing as a camera assistant before transitioning from set work to my role at the High.
Film school prepared me to be a jack of all trades: I plan shoots, camera operate, edit, color, and spend too much time adding details in sound design that only I may notice. But my favorite part about the work I do now is that I get to translate my skillset into talking to fascinating people and sharing their stories with others.
Across this site you will find select projects from my work at the High, as well as an assortment of personal projects that serve as a snapshot of both my style and development as a filmmaker.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me studying Japanese, taking 3-mile-long walks, or getting my heart ripped out by one of Florida State’s various sports teams.
